Here we go, SMAPxSMAP, over one hour -long special-broadcast from March the 3rd.
Caps, comments with partial translations as usual (this time there’re quite a lot, sorry because this became terribly long), and two clips (including Nakai making girls fain and Kimutaku in drag 😉 )
You are welcome to ask for the PV-clip, but I’d suggest you toget the full, HQ version from JPS.

np. Acid Black Cherry – 少女の祈り

Too bad, just as I had posted the Lonhaa, this came up.
Well, consider it as me being very quick. And my clipping-program liking me at the moment ^^

Here we have SMAPxSMAP from a few days back, February the 18th.
The bistro-guest was the well-known politician 麻生太郎 [Tarou Asou]. He has previously been the minister for foreign affairs and has been going for the prime minister -seat. Twice.
Well, Nakai with a wig, a new skit that makes me pity Tsuyoshi, Dokimeki-meter and a legendary rock-guest.

//edit 21/02. Added a clip of the hilarious new skit//

Forwards!

np. D-51 – Sepia

SMAPxSMAP for February the 4th, 2008. Bistro felt really long this time (but it didn’t get boring), and the “hostman-skit” makes an amusing comeback. Nakai has another wig (but doesn’t make a big deal of it this time 😉 )

np. Acid Black Cherry – Shining On, 君が哀しい

SMAPxSMAP from Monday, January the 28th. I’m a bit later than usual. Let’s blame megaupload, that didn’t want to let me upload the clips. Summary and caps were done already on Monday.
With a hilarious Jane Birkin, confused and grinning Nakai, terrified Tsuyoshi, amused Kimutaku and a lot more crack-entertainment. Think this was the funniest bistro for quite a while. I’d warmly recommend watching the whole show.
Comments, caps and clips (at the bottom of this post) ahoy!
Also, a little warning because I actually give away the bistro-winners in this summary (I’m sorry, but it is kind of a very important part in here that follows).

np. Ded Chaplin – Mona Lisa

Oh well, I’m not too late, I hope.
As I mentioned, I’m back to Finland (…) and have no more satellite. So I’ll have to wait for a while to get the files.
Thank you for this goes to massaru from D-A.
Nakai’s new hair also to be seen for the first time after the wig-thing last week 😀

On with the summary, caps and clips.
I didn’t make a clip of the music-performance (it was DF again), but instead cut out one of the skits for you (traditionally, scroll down all the way for the link). I can, if asked, clip the DF-performance aswell, but ask for it in the forums/mail (or well, here is accepted too in the worst case).

np. 東方神起 – One (Korean version)

Time for the 1st SMAPxSMAP of 2008, this episode being over an hour long, and besides that, a live-broadcast.
Titled “弾丸Fight Special”, the show consisted of three segments: the traditional live-intro-talk behind the scenes right before the actual show, bistro-part and the ‘real’ special, being an athletics-challenge. We also get one more performance of “弾丸Fighter” and a cliffhanger to see how the ‘罰-game’ [batsu-game, as the punishment-game] will turn out.
I made two clips this time, one of the hilarious intro-talk and other for the ‘groovy’ performance. I won’t spoil the sports challenge part with clips. The whole show is downloadable from D-A via torrent, for those who missed it.

np. 槇原敬之 – 北風 ~君にとどきますように~

Time for the last SMAPxSMAP of the year 2007 and also the SmaSma-Christmas Special.
They show the 30 best skits they’ve done during the past year, and I since I refuse to comment on those (because they’re after all just snippets but I’d end up babbling all about them *embarrassed smile*, I think I’ll just skip them. My advice is, though, watch this whole show because it’s very much worth it).
Check the bottom of this post for the traditional download-links. I’ve got three for you this time (:

The show begins literally with crack, as we’ve got Will Smith in the intro, taking Nakai‘s place and speaking Japanese (American style, definetely yes, but I was amazed how he’d learned quite a bit of the language).
The guys could’nt (and neither could I 😀 ) keep a straight face. (A hint: wait for my massive download-post for the New Year to get a clip of this).
“Oodaaaa!!?!” *imitates Nakai‘s raspy voice*
aleynacap

They make up for teasing Nakai in the bistro-segment, where they’ve got 星野 仙一 [Hoshino Senichi] as a guest. For those who are left behind, let to be told that he is a pretty much legendary professional baseball player and coach. Nakai being a huge baseball-fan (as if people wouldn’t know this ^^), was chosen by the national team’s coach Hoshino as the team’s official support-captain (for the Asian Baseball Championships which Japan btw won a few weeks ago).
Anyway, they chit-chat enthusiastically about baseball (and Nakai, well, fanboys 😀 ) until it’s time to go and meet the chefs. Nakai and Kimutaku end up quarreling a little ^^ Guess the reason..
aleynacap

Nakai gets totally “into” it, and I think that’s what Shingo and Kimutaku are whispering about at one point and what the staff is actually laughing at 🙂 But it’s good to know Nakai‘s a total fanboy at times. We saw Kimutaku and Goro do it last week, so 😉
aleynacap

Nakai and Kimutaku are their cute selves and Tsuyoshi is once again surprising us. He’s got ‘星野金’ [Hoshino Kin, the guest’s name and the kanji for metallic/golden], which is a pun with ‘星の金’ [Hoshi no Kin, metallic/golden stars]. His “snowing” is also kinda.. crack ^^
aleynacap

Then we get a totally beautiful and heart-wrenching live-performance of ‘Christmas Night’. I’m so happy to see Tony’s name on the screen here ^^
The strings-orchestra makes it pretty much perfect.
And I don’t care that Kimutaku‘s voice isn’t enough for the harmonizing-part, this was just absolutely wonderful performance.
aleynacap

The musical guest is the chart-owner of the year, totally amazing and charming tenor 秋川雅史 [Akikawa Masafumi]. His single 千の風になって [Sen no Kaze ni Natte] topped the 2007-chart leaving everyone else far behind with 1,115,499 copies sold.
aleynacap
They chat about the single and Kouhaku (which was the one that made the big audience notice Akikawa-san and the song). It’s hilarious how Kimutaku wishes Nakai ‘Good Luck’ for this year’s Kouhaku since he is the MC for the Red (women’s) team, while SMAP competes for the White (men’s) team.
aleynacap
Akikawa-san is gentle and kind as usual. Love his personality and made a clip of the talk-part also (even if I don’t usually do that), since he’s one of my favourites.
They end the show perfectly with a beautiful, beautiful Christmas Medley. The setting, chorus and everything about the performance is breathtaking.
The songs are ‘We Wish You a Merry Christmas’, ‘Ave Maria’, ‘White Christmas’ and of course at last, 千の風になって.
The guys look so handsome in black and Akikawa-san in white.

I want to thank SMAP for all the wonderful job they’ve done this year.
And I’m definetely waiting for the 2008 already, with a live tour coming up and everything.

Don’t forget to catch the 58th Kouhaku Utagassen on the New Year’s Eve!
