I’m a day late from my usual schedule, reason being encoding of this insanely big file of SMAPxSMAP SPORTS-special from Monday, April the 14th.
Two bistro-segments, SMAP challenging pro-athletes in their own sports and a full 10-minute medley with the Jpop-princess Utada Hikaru.
Includes an extremely hyper Goro, who gets teased to no end

np. Abandoned Pools – Fluorescein
The other song on 東方神起 [Tohoshinki]‘s 23/04/08 tbr. single Beautiful You (PV, lyrics and translation for that one to be found here) is 千年恋歌 [Sennen Koiuta], which is the Japanese version of 천년연가 [Cheonnyeonyeonga], theme song for Korean drama series “The Legend”.
Beware of the sugar-overdose in the lyrics.

This week’s Oricon weekly charts aka. how the pop-queen 浜崎あゆみ [Hamasaki Ayumi] almost ended up #2 on the weekly for the first time in 10 years.
Also, the male-trio of “Stupid Idols” making unbeliavable sales with their debut single and Thelma closing in on KAT-TUN in the yearly chart.

np. GLAY – とまどい
I’ve been working on a few lyrics lately, and here is my absolute favourite from all the solo-songs of 東方神起 [Tohoshinki].
This is an intense rock-song Jaejoong (the lead vocalist) pulls off amazingly well.
I did post the studio-version of this in JFF’s “review-a-song-without-knowing-the-artist” -thread and people loved it (bye, prejudices).

First off, this song is so sugar-coated that it almost turns out sour so beware of cavities.
On the other hand, this is the first solo-song by Junsu, where is voice does not annoy me by going too nasal all over the place.
