np. Janne Da Arc – -R-TYPE- ｢瞳の色｣

This month’s SC has NEWS guesting, as I mentioned in the monthly preview (..the what?) already.

Caps, comments, a streaming-link to the Junior League and a clip to download!

The theme for the episode is 「涙」 [Namida = tears].
The 「涙-medley」:
「恋(れん)涙(るい)」 of KinKi Kids, now 小坂真郷 [Kosaka Masato] as lead with mostly random juniors and 中山優馬 [Nakayama Yuuma]. 「We can make it !」 of 嵐 [Arashi] by a bunch of kids and 「関風Fighting」 of Kanjani8 by a kindergarten-class, the classic 「涙くんさよなら」 of Johnny’s by… erm. 「カナシミBlue」 of KinKi Kids by the trio 亀井拓 [Kamei Taku], 真田佑馬 [Sanada Yuuma] and 橋本良亮 [Hashimoto Ryosuke] I think they’ll be getting a group-name soon. 「Feel your breeze」 of V6 is the ending of the medley, all the kids unite.

Then Nakamaru talks to four kids about the theme and when/about what have they cried.
..I think this proved that he is on the same level with them.

NEWS perform 「太陽のナミダ」 (what a nice playback/heavy after-edit at times…) in the horrible concert-costumes.
Then they talk about crying: we learn basically that Massu is the crybaby of the group and Koyama brings up Shige’s drunken crying again (á Hey!x3).
Ryo seems to be on dazzling mood, since he’s grinning almost throughout the performance and during the talk makes small comments
Koyama also attacks Shige’s.. er.. duster? (that.. thing that’s located on his shoulder) when they exit.

Question?-medley, which includes Matchy’s 「Midnight Shuffle」 and 「目覚めろ！野性」, the Matchy-single they recently were featuring on.
Let me put it a nice way: Question? is ok when doing the back vocals and playing 「Midnight Shuffle」, but when they try to do it all by themselves… it doesn’t work. The kids sound like chipmunks when compared to how this strong song is supposed to be sung.
How can the vocalist have this emotionless face? He picks up for the other song, though.
「目覚めろ！野性」 goes better, they can pull it off and the performance isn’t bad either. As I said when they performed last time, their confidence on the stage has taken HUGE steps up, and you can feel it. They also have a few new guitar-riffs thrown in and a nice adaptation of the piano sound.

Plus, Akun is apparently blonde

Junior League, where NEWS appear as judges. However, they don’t meld to the backgroud.
I think Massu’s talked about his “shocking encounter” before. for Senga going “oi!” on Kitayama. Miyata is.. well Miyata. I think he’d had a lot of stories to tell.
And Fujigaya just proves (once again) that Tackey is the best senpai ever.
Shige even acts stupid and strips (using the opportunity to poke at Yamapi’s AnAn-shoot of last month) when he’s supposed to give the Juniors an example of doing 5 cool poses straight in row.
I was laughing (with Yabu) when he said they’d pick Senga to represent them ^^
(Senga has arms.. when did he grow up??)
It’s nice that now the teams can (..finally..) compete fairly now when the scores were mase even last time.”
Just that.. A.B.C. would have ruled this if they’d been there.
Won’t spoil with caps, since it’s worth watching.

Yabu does ｢Rain Dance｣ with Kis-My-Ft2 (nice rap, Fujigaya), then there’s JuniorQ (Tackey rules again~) and the letters with Anderson Casey and 京本大我 [Kyomoto Taiga].

Then, the first performance of A.B.C.’s new song 「Sayonara-BOX」. I’d seen Kawai’s new hair already last Friday on MS, but it looks very good here too ^^

This is catchy. And the dance is nice. Kawai raps (wow) and the.. it’s just good. I made a clip of this, look down.

HSW with ballad version of UMP, mostly (or completely, I didn’t listen too much) playback of course.

The ending song is ‘Hurricane’.
Shoon comes up to sing with ABC (again), Fujigaya has jumped Senga ( ) and the Hashimoto-trio is so out of tune it hurts my ears, which is pretty rare since I can take quite a lot.
