np. 大黒摩季 – いちばん近くにいてね

I failed to post this earlier. So apologies for the 24hour-delay. We can blame the real work for it.
Also, aside two performances this SC was totally.. uninteresting. To prove my point I actually made an SC-clip (yes I did. It’s somewhere in this summary) of the other.
So many totally random juniors and basically no signs of A.B.C. or Kis-My-Ft2. I didn’t feel like summarizing this at all, but ended up doing it anyway, cringing.

Well, the intro-song is “DREAMIN’ BLOOD”. Special guest is 横山裕 [Yokoyama Yu] of 関ジャニ∞ [Kanjani8]. They also happen to show Shoon in the intro-part. The theme is 「宝物」 [takaramono, which roughly translates to "a treasure" or "something precious"].

And as the 「宝物-medley begins, we get the junior-attack. I don’t recognize half of them. But the songs were ‘Cherish’ (NEWS), ‘HONEY BEAT’ (V6), ‘GOLD’ (KAT-TUN. And oh, the kid who sings the solo lines is the one who killed Akanishi’s “Care” last year), ‘空のScreen ~Rainbow in My Soul~’ (Tackey & Tsubasa, here is the TRIO from my January-summaries again!), ‘心の鏡’ (SMAP).

Some total newbie-juniors indtroduce themselves. If you want me to dig up the kanjis from somewhere for some reason, leave me a message.

And then the randomly-selected juniors perform KAT-TUN’s debut single, ‘REAL FACE’. nc.
‘シロヤギくん and クロヤギくん’. Skipping.

Finally some action. Question? performs the song they featured on Matchy-san’s single with just last month, 「目覚めろ！野性」.
The difference between the January’s SC-performance and this one is remarkable!
The boys have been having for the first time real media-attendances and such, and probably Matchy’s been the his great self and given the kids a lot of advice.
This performance differs. The boys are confident and take the stage. Even the lead vocalist faces the camera the whole time, and you can basically sense their “attitude” here. Really nicely done!

Intro-don! I really liked this segment last year, but now they’re going overboard and it was actually boring.
They’re Kanjani8-songs since Yokoyama’s the guest. To tell the rules briefly: they play a short intro and the boys have to guess the song. If you’ve got it right, you get 10 points, if wrong you lose 10.
This time there’s also a special “Yoko-chance”. When that tune plays, the teams will have to pick if they want to count on Yokoyama to solve the next song or not. If they trust him and he makes it, they get a bunch of points, but losing takes a lot of points away.
I don’t really have any comments for this, except that this whole “lets-even-out-the-score-between-the-teams-not-so-subtly” is not something I like (and that Totsu fails ;p). They coul’ve better started from zero in January.
Anyway, here are the songs in order if anyone is interested:
“It’s My Soul”, “浪花いろは節”, “ズッコケ男道”, “大阪Rainy Blues”, “関風Fighting”, “無限大”, “∞SAKAおばちゃんROCK”, “桜援歌” and “好きやねん、大阪”.

Then the guest-talk as usual. Yokoyama talks about his own “treasure” and just promptly says it to be the band-members..
And so he finally gets some screentime ( ), and performs his solo “ConfUsion”.

Miyata and Tamamori were doing pretty decent job with the backdancing here, but Senga overshadows everyone as usual. The scrawny juniors in red almost succeeded in spoiling this performance though.

HSW talk and a performance. Balladish “Star Time”. 伊野尾慧 playing some notes on piano for it.

The ending song is 「無限大」 of 関ジャニ∞. Yokoyama does the leads and then pretty much everyone joins.

Let’s hope the show’ll be amusing next week. The previews promised good!
